This is going to revolutionize the EV market. If only we could get it here....
The TL;DR of this article is - ‘Ready in 5, Full in 9, Cold Add 3’ - in other words, charging from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes! Going to 97% would add another 4 minutes, so 9 in total. And in temperatures below -30 C ( which is -22 F) it would take another 3 minutes. Amazing stuff and basically equal to the time to fill your gasoline car. The infrastructure to support this (much more powerful chargers than are available today, at least in the US) is being rolled out across China and Europe. We'll be left in the dark ages of EV ownership when this is complete in a few years. Thanks, tRump and Dopepublicans.
